As an Operational Support Specialist, you will assist merchants with their queries and technical issues, optimize processes, and communicate feedback to improve the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regional APAC role supporting Singapore and Australia as required.

  • Lead the delivery of comprehensive client and member analytics, driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence through data-driven insights.

  • Engage in analytical efforts that support the development and positioning of evolving product offerings tailored to regional market needs.

  • Proactively manage bespoke data analysis requests from clients and brokers, enhancing the value and clarity of performance insights beyond standard reporting.

  • Apply actuarial expertise to interpret complex datasets, uncover trends, and formulate actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

  • Own the development, optimization, and governance of reporting frameworks to ensure precision, timeliness, and strategic relevance.

  • Facilitate alignment between technology and business domain and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing data integration capabilities and streamlining operational workflows.

  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning in analytical methodology.

  • Any other ad-hoc duties/ projects as assigned.

  • Navigating complex data environments and ensuring data integrity.

  • Balancing multiple high-priority projects and delivering results within tight deadlines.

  • Translating complex data into insights that non-technical stakeholders can understand and utilise.

  • Staying abreast of industry trends and incorporating best practices into analytical processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analysis, Actuarial Science, or a related field.

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in business analytics, with a strong focus on health actuarial analysis.

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality analytical insights and recommendations.

  • Strong proficiency in sophisticated data analysis tools and software (eg, Tableau, PowerBI).  Some experience with data engineering or data architectural projects a plus.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Personal Competencies:

  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail, able to approach problems logically and identify root causes.

  • Possess business acumen to understand business drivers and operational contect.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
