We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / System Analyst with hands-on exposure to Bullion-related banking projects, such as gold trading, precious metals operations, vault management, and settlement workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong banking domain expertise, functional analysis capabilities, and the ability to support system enhancements, integrations, and regulatory-driven initiatives within the Bullion business.
Key Responsibilities- Work with business users, traders, operations, and product teams to gather and analyze requirements for Bullion trading, pricing, settlement, treasury operations, custody, and inventory management.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, process flows, and system designs.
- Collaborate with technology teams to analyze existing Bullion systems, identify gaps, and design enhancements or integrations.
- Support implementation of features related to gold trading, forex-linked gold products, hedging, precious metal accounts, buy/sell operations, and vault logistics.
- Coordinate end-to-end project activities, including requirement workshops, system walkthroughs, and design validation.
- Prepare and execute SIT/UAT test scenarios, track defects, and validate system behavior.
- Perform data analysis, data mapping, and reconciliation support for Bullion modules.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to AML, KYC, reporting, audit requirements, metal purity, and transaction traceability.
- Support process optimization, automation, and digitalization initiatives within the Bullion operations value chain.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, test cases, and training or user guide documentation.
RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience
- 5–12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst in the Banking/Financial Services domain.
- Mandatory experience in Bullion projects, including one or more of the following:
- Bullion/precious metals trading system
- Bullion pricing and risk management
- Bullion settlement, clearing, and custody
- Vault management and logistics
- Metal account operations (Gold Accounts, PM Accounts)
- Hedging with futures/options (optional)
- Strong understanding of:
- Trade lifecycle for Bullion transactions
- Pricing models, mark-to-market, and rate feeds
- Settlement rules, delivery orders, and physical vs. unallocated metals
- Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, data mapping, and functional specifications.
- Knowledge of banking processes such as payments, reconciliations, accounting entries, and regulatory reporting.
- Experience working with SQL or data analysis tools for validation and reconciliation.
- Experience with Bullion platforms (example: Mitsubishi Bullion System, Gold APIs, Treasury/Trading Systems, Core Banking Bullion Modules, or in-house Bank-specific Bullion platforms).
- Exposure to SWIFT, FX systems, trading integration, or treasury operations.
- Knowledge of risk controls related to commodity trading.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum tools (Jira, Confluence).
