Job Description
The Business Analyst works closely with clients and internal stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements, ensuring they accurately reflect business needs and stakeholder expectations. This role translates business needs into system and application requirements, supporting solution design and delivery across projects. The Business Analyst proactively manages changes to requirements, identifies risks, and helps drive successful project outcomes by applying industry and technology expertise across the full delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements
Define system scope, objectives, and business processes using strong knowledge of information technology and industry standards
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
Translate business requirements into clear functional and non‑functional specifications
Proactively identify issues, risks, and impacts related to requirements changes and propose appropriate solutions
Support solution design activities, including visualization, user experience considerations, and configuration elements
Produce high‑quality requirements documentation using established methodologies, tools, and best practices
Support requirements management, traceability, and change control processes
Develop and execute acceptance test plans and test cases, including support for UAT activities
Assist in proposal development, feasibility studies, and project implementations
Consider the business and operational impacts of applying technology solutions in the current environment
Effectively manage and align client expectations throughout the project lifecycle
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a business, technical, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
4–5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
Knowledge and Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in engaging and presenting to clients
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
Essential Experience
Requirements elicitation and documentation using structured techniques
Decomposing high‑level information into detailed requirements and abstracting low‑level details
Distinguishing between requests vs. business needs and requirements vs. solutions
Requirements prioritization, change management, and traceability
Risk identification and impact analysis
Applying creativity to solve complex business problems
Building strong stakeholder relationships and working collaboratively
Experience within at least one industry domain
Specialized Experience
Developing structured user manuals and training materials
Business rules modeling
Developing and executing acceptance test plans and test cases
Experience performing integrated testing and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Good to Have
Experience in Public Sector implementations
Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies
This role requires eligibility for government security clearance (CAT 1) and, due to project requirements, is open to Singapore Citizens only.
