Job Summary: We are seeking a Brachytherapy Product Specialist to oversee marketing and sales-support activities across the Asia-Pacific and Japan region, with a primary focus on India and Southeast Asia. This role requires a proactive professional with strong sales acumen, technical expertise, and the ability to drive market development. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the sales process for consumables and parts, collaborate closely with sales managers, and work to strengthen the presence of Varian Brachytherapy products in a competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Development and Marketing

  • Develop strategies to increase product and brand awareness in the APJ markets. This includes, but not limited to, working with regulatory teams to expedite submissions and approvals, building evidence generation plans to drive reimbursement and clinical adoption.
  • Work with the local teams, medical affairs, clinical teams etc to develop a clinical adoption/ KOL engagement plan
  • Build relationships and develop clinical and brand ambassadors within strategic accounts.
  • Provide trade show support to showcase Brachytherapy solutions and engage with key stakeholders.

Sales Process Management & Business Growth

  • Own the full sales process for ongoing post-sale consumables to grow the business.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and basic training for customers when application specialists are unavailable or when training has not been purchased.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to align product offerings with customer needs and market demands and provide SME support throughout sales process.
  • Prepare tailored customer quotes that maximize clinical objectives for patients and operational value.
  • Maintain open communication with sales managers, providing updates on deal progress and market insights.
  • Manage and update the sales funnel and forecasts, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of sales opportunities.

Post-Sale Support & Customer Engagement

  • Support downstream operations for tenders, training, and post-sales services.
  • Ensure customers are well-equipped to maximize the use and benefits of Varian Brachytherapy products.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth by fostering long-term customer relationships and maintaining understanding of clinical developments in the field.
