JOB SUMMARY:The BIM Modeller is responsible for developing, updating and maintaining accurate Building Information Modelling (BIM) models used for design, coordination and documentation of architectural projects. The role produces detailed 3D models, drawings and schedules in accordance with project standards and supports coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The BIM Modeller ensures high-quality modelling output, adherence to BIM protocols and contributes to smooth project delivery within the digital practice workflow. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:• Develop and update detailed BIM models for architectural or discipline-specific elements based on design intent and project requirements. • Produce drawings, plans, sections, elevations, details and schedules extracted from the BIM model with accuracy and clarity. • Ensure modelling consistency and compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project standards and digital workflows. • Assist in model coordination activities including clash detection, issue tracking and updating models based on coordination feedback. • Maintain and update BIM files, views, sheets and digital documentation in accordance with file management protocols. • Collaborate with architects, engineers and BIM team members to understand design changes and incorporate updates into the model. • Assist with preparing visuals such as 3D views, diagrams and renderings for presentations and client submissions. • Support BIM content creation, including parametric families, templates and reusable components. • Participate in model audits, quality checks and compliance reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Coordinate with external consultants and project teams for BIM data exchange and version control. • Assist in preparing BIM-related reports, schedules and digital deliverables for submission. • Ensure all modelling work adheres to organisational standards, industry guidelines and digital practice workflows. • Provide support during project meetings and design reviews by presenting model information when required. • Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes, libraries and modelling efficiency. JOB REQUIREMENTS:• Diploma in Architecture, BIM Technology, Engineering or related fields; relevant certifications in BIM are an advantage. • 1–3 years of experience in BIM modelling for architectural or engineering projects. • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required; experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD or related tools is an advantage. • Good understanding of BIM modelling principles, construction detailing and project documentation. • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into accurate BIM elements. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and modelling quality. • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables. • Proactive, responsible and committed to continuous improvement and learning in digital workflows.
