As a Business Analyst, you will gather and document requirements for cross-border payment services, collaborate with stakeholders, conduct gap analyses, and provide expertise in payment flows and compliance.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for cross-border payment products and services (SWIFT, GPI, ISO20022, RTGS, ACH, correspondent banking, remittance, FX, etc.).
- Work closely with business stakeholders, operations, technology, and vendor teams to translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Support product design and solutioning for digital payment channels, APIs, and real-time cross-border flows.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessment, and data mapping between existing legacy systems and new platforms.
- Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, and acceptance criteria ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks (MAS, PSD2, FATF, AML/CFT).
- Collaborate with QA teams for SIT/UAT test cases, defect triage, and sign-off.
- Participate in workshops with clients, regulators, and partner banks to drive end-to-end process improvements.
- Provide subject matter expertise on cross-border settlement flows, nostro/vostro accounts, liquidity management, FX, compliance, and reconciliation.
- Support implementation, change management, and post-go-live production validation.
- An in-depth Business Analyst experience in banking, payments, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of cross-border payments ecosystem (SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, GPI, RTGS, ACH, instant payments, correspondent banking).
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (MAS regulations, AML, KYC, sanctions screening, FATF).
- Proficiency in requirement analysis, documentation (BRD/FRD), user stories, RTM, and business process modeling (BPMN/use cases).
- Hands-on experience with payment systems, API connectivity, integration projects, and digital channels.
- Familiarity with treasury, FX, liquidity management, and nostro reconciliation preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Waterfall environments.
