Responsibilities
- Market fixed income sales securities to institutional clients in both primary and secondary markets
- Ensure proper account booking and timely settlement of new issues and secondary trades; coordinate billing with other banks for new issuance
- Perform due diligence and CSFA analysis, set up counter-party trading limits, and on-board new clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients to understand their investment needs and provide tailored solutions
- Collaborate with the trading and research teams to provide market insights and investment recommendations to clients
- Actively monitor market trends and developments to identify new business opportunities
- Contribute to the team's overall sales strategy and revenue generation efforts
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fixed income sales or a similar role within the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of fixed income products, market dynamics, and investment strategies
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships, and generating sales
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex financial concepts
- Proficient in using financial analysis tools and systems to support investment decision-making
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing market conditions
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
