Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced AVP, Senior Network Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the bank’ s building and international office networks. In this critical role, you will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure, which is essential for supporting business operations and delivering high-quality services to our customers. You will play a key role in troubleshooting, optimization, and security enforcement while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy and optimize complex LAN/WAN/Wireless network across building, domestic and international branches, and ATM network infrastructure
Ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of the bank's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and security systems.
Review and implement changes request across all network technologies based on new design standards and business requirements.
Lead network fault investigation, troubleshooting, resolution, recovery, and root cause analysis.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical guides, and operational procedures.
Ensure network infrastructure is compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements, including data protection and security standards.
Collaborate with IT teams, such as End User, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Applications, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of network services with business requirements.
Automate network operations using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or scripting tools.
Deliver and implement network projects according to Bank standards and requirements.
Manage relationships with vendors and partners to ensure timely and effective delivery of network services.
Mentor and train junior network engineers to improve team capabilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on enterprise networks, preferred with working experience in a financial institution.
Strong implementation knowledge of the following protocols: OSPF, BGP, IPSec, LISP, VXLAN, 802.1x, STP.
Expertise in routing, switching, network admission control, security gateways, and wireless network technologies.
Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CCDE, HCIP, HCIE or equivalent preferred.
Preferred with hands-on experiences on Network Automation Tools, Orchestration Platform, Network Monitoring, and related components.
Proficiency in network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform, Bash, or PowerShell).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Proven ability to operate under pressure and meet challenging deadlines with minimum supervision.
Willingness and demonstrate capability to learn, assimilate, and act upon large amounts of information rapidly.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in enterprise networking, Routing/Switching (Cisco/Huawei), Wireless (Cisco/Aruba), NAC(ForeScout) and SD-WAN (Aruba/Fortinet/Cisco) solutions.

This role is 100% Work in office, based at Tampines/ Loyang/ Punggol
During network incidents, this role may require you to be available outside of standard office hours to support troubleshooting efforts.
