Job Description

We have an opportunity a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our critical network infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and optimal performance.
Job Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, install, and troubleshoot network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor network performance, identify and resolve network issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent outages and optimize network efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices to protect sensitive banking data and systems.
  • Participate in network capacity planning, upgrades, and migrations to support business growth and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams (e.g., systems, security, applications) to ensure seamless integration and operation of banking systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal users on network-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies, industry trends, and security threats.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical network incidents outside of business hours.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in network engineering, preferably within a large enterprise or financial institution.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies (e.g., CCNP/CCIE certification preferred), Cisco Wireless, ISE and Catalyast Center.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet).
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and protocols (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, Wireshark).
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, OSPF, BGP, and other networking protocols.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
  • Experience with load balancing solutions (e.g., F5 Big-IP).
  • Experience with Cisco SDA is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to security and compliance.
