How it works
As a Management Reporting, Planning & Analysis professional, success is not just about delivering high-quality reports and analysis, but also about providing actionable insights that drive business decisions and growth. Involves in analysing financial performance, forecasting future trends, and creating comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
What you do
This role involves leading, managing and monitoring Group-wide implementation of new financial reporting standards. It will encompass working with various functions – risk, operations and technology, business units and subsidiary companies and providing regular status updates on the progress and the financial impact simulations/presentation to senior management. Group-wide roll-out will also include co-ordinating and reviewing the updating of Group accounting policies and procedures and working with the financial reporting team on the disclosure requirements.
Who you are
1. Finance professional with at least 5 years’ experience with relevant experience in the banking industry, preferably in MIS/Business Finance or related functions
2. A good appreciation of data modelling would be an added advantage
3. A good university degree, preferably in Accounting, Business, Computer Science or equivalent
4. Demonstrated success in the areas of planning and forecasting, financial/management reporting, and analysis
5. Project management/implementation experience
Scripting, SQL and Tagetik knowledge is a plus
6. Project management skills or active involvement in successful project implementations. Strong analytical skills with well-rounded experience in various core finance areas
7. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse stakeholder group
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Adaptable and able to think broadly, with proven success as an individual contributor
