The AVP of Investment manages the investment process, sourcing and analyzing opportunities, conducting due diligence, and presenting financial analyses to stakeholders.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a key role that manages the end-to-end investment process. The key areas of responsibilities include originating potential deals, structuring and executing deals, contributing to the delivery of maximizing risk-adjusted investment returns for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and analyse investment opportunities
- Responsible for the structuring and executing of the acquisition of data centre assets in Asia Pacific and Europe
- Conduct financial modelling to assess / support acquisitions; Present financial analysis to key stakeholders
- Conduct and coordinate legal, tax, technical & financial due diligence for assets to be acquired, working with advisers/ consultants
- Preparation of investment papers, presentations and other materials, as required
- Review legal documents
- Prepare regular sector research to keep apprised of updated trends and market news/information including the review and analysis of financial, market information and analyst reports from sources including Tier One Research, Bloomberg, Data Center Dynamics etc.
- Degree in Business, Real Estate Management or equivalent from a good university
- Experience in investment management /private equity/funds management/investment banking is essential
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, including conducting investment / financial / commercial due diligence
- Data centre technical knowledge and experiences will be an added advantage
- Good report writing, verbal, financial modelling and presentation skills
- Independent and able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
