What you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for the full-process design, development, and optimization of the data center liquid cooling control system, including cooling circuit control logic, temperature/flow rate closed-loop control, energy-saving adjustment, adapting to high-density data center rack cooling requirements, and ensuring the stable and efficient operation of the liquid cooling system.
- Lead the environmental and facility monitoring system (EFMS) design and implementation for the data center, covering monitoring of power distribution, air conditioning, liquid cooling, fire protection, security, and other infrastructure. Tasks include planning monitoring points, data collection, alarm logic design, enabling real-time monitoring and remote control of the data center's environment and device status.
- Conduct control circuit design, including controllers, relay control cabinets, signal conditioning circuits, and more. Tasks include drawing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ensuring safety, reliability, and compatibility with automation needs during installation and maintenance.
- Handle control component selection, aligned with high-reliability requirements for data centers. Select controllers, drives, sensors, relays, and verify the compatibility and compliance of components while balancing cost and performance.
- Develop control programming, including logic programming and debugging for controllers as well as UI interface development to ensure visual management, parameter settings, fault diagnostics, and historical data retrieval with user-friendly and logically sound systems.
- Utilize advanced programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python, C#) to develop EFMS upper-level software and data exchange interfaces, enabling data analysis, statistical reporting, and visualization for intelligent adjustments and fault prediction.
- Expertise in common communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, TCP/IP, CAN) for debugging communication between sensors, controllers, upper-level control systems, and the data center's operational platform, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compatible data transfers.
- Conduct on-site automation system commissioning, including control cabinet wiring, control program debugging, and integrated tuning of liquid cooling and EFMS systems. Troubleshoot technical problems during the commissioning process to ensure designed specifications are met.
- Assist overall data center construction progress by sharing technical requirements for automation system installation, supervising on-site implementation, coordinating challenges with contractors or equipment suppliers, and ensuring quality and timelines.
- Develop operational manuals for the automated system, perform regular inspections, troubleshoot issues, optimize control logic/programming, and implement system updates to maintain a 24/7 reliable operation. Maintain technical documentation.
- Strictly adhere to relevant data center regulations and industry standards related to automation systems. Candidates familiar with NEC, UL standards in the U.S. will be preferred.
How you will stand out:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical automation, automation, measurement and control technology, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation system design, development, and debugging. Priority given to candidates with experience in large-scale data center liquid cooling systems or infrastructure monitoring projects.
- Proficient in liquid cooling system design and development for data centers, with a solid understanding of cooling principles and the ability to independently design control logic, develop programs, and conduct system debugging.
- Expert knowledge of facility monitoring systems architecture, capable of independent planning, data collection, alarm design, and system integration.
- Strong ability to design control circuits, including drawing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, and proficient in CAD, EPLAN, or similar software.
- Expertise in component selection, including controllers, drives, and sensors, ensuring high compatibility and performance aligned with project needs.
- Experienced in control program development, including programming for upper-level control systems and UI development, capable of independent debugging and optimization.
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Python, C#, etc.) for developing upper-level software, data visualization, and management interfaces.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, CAN) for debugging and troubleshooting issues related to compatibility and efficiency.
- Adept at on-site equipment debugging, including system installation, fault resolution, and functional optimization.
- Familiarity with American NEC and UL standards is highly desirable.
- Experience in Linux-based development is a plus.
- Background with data center liquid cooling technologies (e.g., cold plate or immersion cooling), particularly in energy-efficient solutions, is advantageous.
- Strong project management, communication, and coordination skills to facilitate external and internal collaborations are preferred.
What you will experience working with us:
- A culture that values authenticity and diversity of thoughts and backgrounds;
- An inclusive and respectable environment with open workspaces and exciting start-up spirit;
- Fast-growing company with the chance to network with industrial pioneers and enthusiasts;
- Ability to contribute directly and make an impact on the future of the digital asset industry;
