Auditor/Senior Auditor
Working as part of regional internal audit team and reporting into our Audit Manager, this role will provide technical advice and guidance to deliver set outcomes to the quality and standard required of an international internal audit department.
- Execute assurance (risk and compliance based) and consulting engagements at both regional and local level. May require work travel outside of Singapore when needed.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit requirements.
- Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and variance analysis to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, organizational policies, and accounting standards, and stay updated on changes in regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting and financial reporting, and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring their professional development and performance management.
- Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate risks, collaborating with other departments as needed.
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and software to streamline operations and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
