Job Profile Summary

The selected candidate will join our global family as part of the leading Transaction Services (TS) franchise. The Transaction Services Associate supports the origination, structuring, execution, and management of cash management (PCM) and trade finance solutions for corporate clients. The role works closely with TS Sales, Relationship Managers, Legal, Product, Risk, and Operations teams across geographies.

To succeed in this role you will need to work collaboratively with other members of the department, sharing knowledge and supporting each other in the development and growth of our knowledge base. As part of the TS global franchise, you will also need to frequently contact TS teams in other locations and build up your network.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Deal Origination & Structuring Support

  • Support TS Sales in identifying opportunities across cash, trade, and working capital solutions (including assist in RFPs and tenders)
  • Conduct market and sector research
  • Analyse client financials and working capital cycles to identify funding needs
  • Prepare pricing proposals, client presentations, and pitch materials

2. Execution & Credit Process

  • Support preparation of internal approval materials (credit proposals, commercial green light requests)
  • Coordinate with Risk, Legal, and Compliance for approvals and documentation
  • Assist in drafting legal documentation (e.g. receivables agreements, risk participation agreements)
  • Monitor live transactions to ensure compliance with approved credit conditions and covenants
  • Track utilisation, limits, and client performance against approved structures and risk parameters
  • Flag breaches, exceptions, or early warning indicators to TS Sales, Risk, and relevant stakeholders
  • Support periodic reviews and renewals by providing utilisation data, financial updates, and client behaviour insights
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and audit trail for all monitored transactions

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Coverage, Product, Risk, Operations)
  • Support client onboarding, implementation, and query resolution
  • Ensure high service levels and smooth client experience

4. Other Operational Support

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and trade finance controls
  • Maintain accurate client data and system records
  • Other MIS support

What we're looking for:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in transaction banking, corporate banking, trade finance, or cash management

Core Technical Skills

  • Strong financial analysis capabilities, including understanding of financial statements and working capital metrics
  • Knowledge of transaction banking products such as Trade finance (LCs, guarantees, supply chain finance) and Cash management / PCM solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • High attention to detail with a strong risk and control mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • Proactive, structured, and execution-focused
