The Role

MOI Global is seeking an Associate Strategist / Strategist to join our APAC team. This role is suited to a curious, insight-driven thinker with a passion for B2B strategy, customer experience, and creative problem-solving. You will support the development and delivery of strategic marketing recommendations for a diverse portfolio of clients, helping brands drive meaningful behavioural and commercial change.

Working within a multidisciplinary, full-service B2B agency, you will collaborate closely with strategy, creative, media, and client services teams. Reporting to the VP – Go-to-Market, you will contribute across multiple projects, balancing research, insight development, and strategic articulation in a fast-paced agency environment.

What You’ll DoStrategy & Insight Development
  • Research, analyse, and synthesise market, customer, and industry data to develop well-informed strategic recommendations.
  • Examine client businesses to understand brand positioning, customer needs, competitive landscapes, and growth objectives.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including stakeholder interviews and desk research, to inform insights.
  • Identify category white space, audience needs, and growth opportunities that can be translated into actionable strategies.
Client & Team Collaboration
  • Support and participate in client workshops, working sessions, and discovery engagements to inform strategic direction and build strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, media, content, and account teams to ensure strategy is clearly articulated and effectively activated.
  • Act as a strategic anchor within project teams, ensuring work remains aligned to business objectives and customer insight.
Strategic Planning & Development
  • Contribute to the development of brand, demand, and customer experience strategies across the full customer journey.
  • Support the creation of value propositions, messaging frameworks, and positioning across industries and audiences.
  • Conduct content audits and gap analyses to inform strategic planning and activation.
  • Develop cohesive, insight-led strategic plans that guide campaign development and execution.
Presentation & Communication
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of strategic presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Clearly articulate insights, strategic rationale, and recommendations in a compelling and structured manner.
  • Contribute to the generation of original Turning Heads™ ideas alongside cross-functional team members.
Skills & Experience
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in brand, marketing, or communications strategy (5+ for Associate Strategist; 8+ for Strategist), ideally within an agency environment.
  • Experience in integrated, brand, or digital communications, preferably within B2B, technology, or complex service-based industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn research into clear, actionable insights.
  • Ability to think holistically across the customer experience, from initial engagement through advocacy.
  • Exposure to demand generation or account-based marketing (ABM) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with customer experience design, digital innovation, service design principles, or content strategy frameworks.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams across strategy, creative, media, and delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with confidence presenting strategic thinking.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Intellectual curiosity, commercial awareness, and a desire to continually expand strategic and industry knowledge.
