Your team

Index & Data Solutions (IDS) provides relationship management, operations management and vendor risk management for index and market data services used across the firm. The team partners with internal stakeholders and external providers to deliver index and market data solutions that support BlackRock’s business and investment activities.

Your role and impact

As an Associate within IDS, you will support the management of index and market data services across the firm. You will work closely with Legal, investment teams and other business partners to manage data licensing requirements, support commercial and contractual discussions, and help ensure effective use of index and market data services.

Your responsibilities

• Partner with Legal to review and negotiate data license agreements and support preferred business terms.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers.
• Interpret and communicate licensing requirements to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Develop reporting to support market data expenditure and business decisions.
• Monitor relevant regulatory and industry developments and communicate their implications.

You have…

• 2–4 years’ experience managing data license agreements or similar.
• Knowledge of buy-side financial services and/or the market data industry.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Japanese, Mandarin or Korean language skills are a plus.

Our hybrid work model
