Your day at NTT DATA
The Associate HR Business Partner is an entry level subject matter expert, responsible for learning the required skills to provide HR consultation assistance to an assigned business area/unit.
This role works under the guidance of HR management in the application of corporate policies related to HR, organizational and employee advancement.
The Associate HR Business Partner assists with less complex initiatives and activities related to HR.
Key responsibilities:
  • Provides assistance to HRBPs in delivering HR services and support to employees and managers.
  • Facilitates the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a smooth and positive experience.
  • Handles basic employee relations matters and escalate more complex issues to HRBPs.
  • Supports the performance management process, including goal setting and performance reviews.
  • Assists in organizing training sessions and development programs for employees.
  • Ensures adherence to HR policies and procedures and assist in compliance-related activities.
  • Maintains employee data and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepares HR reports and data analysis as requested by HRBPs and other stakeholders.
  • Contributes to HR projects and initiatives, collaborating with the HR team and other departments.
  • Utilizes HR technology systems and tools to perform HR-related tasks and data management.
  • Assists in managing organizational change initiatives and communicating changes to employees.
  • Learns to use data for analysis and trend establishment to understand performance and productivity drivers in the relevant employee base.
  • Ensures both HR and business managers have the information they need related to running the talent aspects of their organizations.
  • Performs any other related task as required.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:
  • Basic understanding of HR functions, processes, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Developing knowledge of HR Processes
  • Basic knowledge of performance appraisal processes and performance improvement techniques.
  • Awareness of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and software for data management and HR administration.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees and stakeholders.
  • Thoroughness in handling HR documentation and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Ability to collaborate with HR colleagues and business partners to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to efficiently manage tasks and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to adapt to changes and embrace new HR initiatives.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the HR field.
Academic qualifications and certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Human Resources or a related field.
Required experience:
  • Entry level (2-3)experience working in a similar role preferably gained within a global IT organization.
  • Entry level (2-3)experience working closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at different levels in the business.
  • Entry level(2-3) experience working leveraging HR technologies including some experience in HRIS, LMS, e-Recruitment and Payroll systems.
