The Associate Director, Project Management Office (PMO Silent-Aire) – APAC is a senior regional leadership role responsible for driving project delivery excellence, governance, and portfolio visibility across the APAC region for Silent-Aire business unit. Reporting directly to the General Manager, APAC, this role ensures strategic initiatives are translated into disciplined execution and measurable business outcomes.

The Associate Director, Project Management Office (PMO Silent-Aire) – APAC acts as a strategic partner to regional leadership and stakeholders, enabling consistent delivery practices while accounting for regional business needs, regulatory requirements, and cultural diversity across APAC markets

What you will do:

APAC PMO Leadership & Governance

  • Lead and mature PMO frameworks, standards, and best practices across the APAC region
  • Establish and oversee regional project, program, and portfolio governance models
  • Ensure alignment with global PMO standards while tailoring approaches to regional needs
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for delivery risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies

Financial Responsibility

  • Own financial oversight for the APAC project and program portfolio
  • Ensure effective budget planning, forecasting, and cost control across all initiatives
  • Track financial performance versus plan, including variances, risks, and forecast adjustments
  • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting, accruals, and capitalization where required
  • Implement financial governance controls for contract management, change management & scope adjustments

Portfolio & Strategic Alignment

  • Manage the APAC project and program portfolio, including prioritization and capacity planning
  • Ensure initiatives align with APAC strategic objectives and enterprise priorities
  • Provide portfolio-level reporting, insights, and recommendations to the GM APAC and leadership team
  • Support business case development, investment governance, and benefits realization tracking

Delivery Excellence

  • Oversee delivery of major regional programs and business-critical initiatives
  • Improve predictability, quality, and consistency of project delivery outcomes
  • Define, monitor, and report on delivery KPIs, health indicators, and performance trends
  • Champion best practices in risk management, dependency management, and change control

Stakeholder & Executive Engagement

  • Partner with the General Manager, APAC and regional leaders to translate strategy into executable roadmaps
  • Act as the primary PMO interface between APAC and global PMO / corporate functions
  • Prepare and present executive-level dashboards, reports, and decision papers

People & Capability Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop Project Managers, Program Managers, and PMO professionals across APAC
  • Build regional PMO capability through mentoring, training, and performance management
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and outcomes-focused delivery
  • Support regional resourcing strategy and external partner management

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline
  • 8–12+ years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management
  • Proven experience working with senior regional and executive leadership
  • Strong understanding of PMO operating models and governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives in a regional or global environment
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution discipline
  • Executive-level communication and influencing skills
  • Portfolio analytics and data-driven decision-making capability
  • Change management and organizational leadership
  • Financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, investment governance)
  • Ability to operate effectively in matrixed, multicultural organizations

Preferred

  • PMP, PgMP, MSP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or equivalent certification
  • Experience leading PMO transformation or maturity uplift initiatives
  • Experience operating in APAC markets and multicultural environments
  • Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
