UnspecifiedThe Associate Director, Digital Technology (DT) APAC plays the role as a Regional Site Support Lead in the Asia-Pacific region. We are seeking a highly motivated DT professional with strong strategic leadership and management skills to provide overall digital support for the P&W MRO and Manufacturing facilities located in the Asia-Pacific region, including sites in Singapore, New Zealand and China.
The selected candidate will be responsible for aligning to strategic initiatives, acquiring funding, allocating resources, creating an overall roadmap for each site’s portfolio, interfacing with site GMs & leadership, escalation for sustainment activities, supervisory tasks, and coaching & development. In addition to work with core digital technologies disciplines, out-sourced service providers and customers to ensure that the overall digital technology needs, and objectives of the business are met.
What You Will DoLead the Digital Technology (DT) team in the Asia-Pacific region to ensure that operations are supported through applications, infrastructure, and DT processes.
Provide updates to DT leadership on key aspects of local business DT components.
Manage and develop DT professionals to foster career development.
Improve and develop innovative site capabilities and software with Connected Factory and Industry 4.0 principles in conjunction with the strategic roadmap for all sites.
Work with key business leaders to understand specific DT requirements.
Translate customer requirements into a solution design primarily across multiple manufacturing applications and enterprise applications.
Understand key applications usage for the business and serve as liaison to subject matter experts.
Work with other DT disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery to meet business priorities.
Drive leadership to ensure local DT processes & procedures are documented and compliant
Support audits of digital systems at local sites.
Perform budget & investment planning for Digital Technology needs.
Streamline business workflow processes and develop effective technology.
Drive leadership for project management of DT software life cycle development processes.
Manage the priorities and requirements of DT resources at each local site.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
At least 12 years of experience working in Digital Technology, including 5+ years of program, project or team management at enterprise level.
Demonstrated leadership skills with indirect & direct supervisory experience.
System architecture and design background to drive technology transformation regionally.
Ability to interpret high level business requirements, and liaise between business customers, technology teams and support teams.
Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, project management, concise writing, communications, and presentation skills.
Able to work independently with limited direction to accomplish goals and can recognize areas for process improvement & formulate actionable plans to address such areas.
International travel will be required on business needs basis.
Experience in customer-facing role serving as Customer Relationship Manager.
Excellent customer service skills require providing a high level of service to satisfy/fulfill internal or external needs accurately in a timely manner.
