Purpose of Role

The role is a part of MO - RRH (Middle Office – Regional Reporting Hub) and is expected to work on key data management and process automation initiatives undertaken by the team.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and Develop data management solutions and databases.

• Deliver quick-wins using MS-Access, Excel VBA and other tools.

• Review end-to-end data quality and business process flow to identify opportunities for continuous improvements to workflow efficiency and accuracy of deliverables.

• Support scoping of requirements with business users by correctly identifying purpose, specific data needs, structure, format, and reporting frequency to achieve intended outcomes.

• Innovate solutions to automate the stable production of standardized reports from core banking systems and/or databases.

• Propose and deliver solutions to Report Owners using Bank-compliant and approved technologies to deliver the required outcomes within agreed timeframes.

• Conduct data quality checks, document impact / gap analysis, and carry-out rigorous testing cycles to achieve stable and successful design outcomes.

Job Requirements

• A degree in computer science is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in implementing solutions related to reporting and/or data management.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel macros, MS-Access and SQL

• Experience in the following technologies:  Tableau, Alteryx, RPA, Python, VBA, and/or similar tools, would be advantages.

• Analytical mindset to understand requirements and data structures thoroughly and accurately, to provide relevant design solutions.

• Must be hands-on to work on the details of specific reports with ability to analyse large and complex datasets and possess strategic cognisance to drive regional standardization.

• Good in communication and stakeholder management skills

• Highly organized, with a structured and logical approach, and an ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities concurrently.

• Experience in managing multiple complex initiatives and competing priorities with proven ability in completing milestones, while working towards multiple deadlines simultaneously.
