The Associate Data Engineer will assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and supporting ETL processes for analytics.
Unison Group is looking for an Associate Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines and data management solutions that support our analytics and reporting needs. You will work closely with senior data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to build robust data infrastructure and ensure data integrity across various systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and optimization of data extraction processes from multiple sources.
- Support the building and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure data is available for analysis.
- Perform routine data quality checks and assist in troubleshooting data-related issues.
- Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and create technical documentation.
- Help implement data governance practices to ensure compliance and consistency in data usage.
- Participate in designing and improving data models to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies related to data engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related area.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Basic understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
