About the Role:
The Reporting Solutions team designs, onboards, implements, and maintains client reporting solutions that meet client needs and align with BlackRock’s reporting standards, governance framework, and operating model. As part of BlackRock’s Reporting and Distribution Services (RDS) Client Reporting team, this role supports the successful delivery of critical reporting and distribution functions while contributing to a globally aligned operating model.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Reporting Solution Implementation
- Analyze client reporting requirements and determine suitable reporting solutions.
- Configure and onboard new reports, templates, data sources, and distribution requirements.
- Translate client requirements into scalable reporting configurations and operating procedures.
- Ensure reporting solutions are production-ready and aligned with established standards.
- Coordinate testing, sign-off, and transition to production support teams.
- Ensure complete implementation documentation and handovers.
- Understand the flow of client, market, and fund data across BlackRock and external providers.
Stakeholder Management
- Support discussions with internal stakeholders regarding reporting capabilities, limitations, and standard offerings.
- Provide reporting expertise during client report onboarding and solutioning discussions.
Quality, Risk & Governance
- Perform business testing and validation of reporting solutions.
- Ensure adherence to reporting policies, controls, and audit requirements.
- Escalate risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges proactively.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive reporting efficiency improvements, report onboarding process enhancements, and practical adoption of AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and service quality.
- Support strategic transformation initiatives, template migrations, and report platform upgrades.
- Contribute to automation, AI use-case development, standardization, and operating model improvements across RDS.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA and SQL skills are desirable.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial services, especially in client reporting or data visualization.
- Strong client service skills and ability to engage independently with clients.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Risk awareness and sound judgment under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adjusting to evolving client needs and internal processes.

Our hybrid work model
