Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate, Structures Design to join our team in Singapore, Singapore. In this role, you will contribute to the design and analysis of structural systems for various building projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local building codes and standards.

  • Perform structural analysis and design calculations for building components using specialized software
  • Develop and review structural drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs with architectural and MEP systems
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and gather necessary information for projects
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
  • Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and sustainable design practices
  • Support senior engineers in project management tasks and client communications
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in structural engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD and/or Revit for developing structural drawings
  • Solid understanding of building codes and standards, particularly those applicable in Singapore
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and efficient work habits
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of various construction materials and methods
  • Familiarity with sustainable design principles
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices
