Job Description
As the Business Development & Contracts Manager, you are the primary driver of vPost’s business expansion. This is a high-impact role where you will manage our critical white-label business relationships and architect our global vendor network. You will be responsible for leading business expansion opportunities, contract negotiations, and conducting deep-dive market analysis to identify our next frontier.
White-Label Relationship Management: Act as the primary commercial point of contact for our white-label partners. You will ensure these high-value B2B relationships are nurtured, service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and growth opportunities are maximized.
Vendor Sourcing & Contract Lifecycle: Proactively manage the renewal and procurement cycle for warehouse and freight vendors globally. You will lead the RFP (Request for Proposal) process, evaluate vendor capabilities, and negotiate favorable commercial terms to ensure zero service disruption when contracts lapse.
Network Expansion & Market Entry: Use data-driven market analysis to identify high-potential countries for vPost expansion. You will be responsible for the end-to-end "unlocking" of new markets—from finding the right local 3PL partners to establishing the operational framework.
On-Site Audits & Quality Control: Conduct frequent international site visits to existing and prospective vendor facilities. You will assess warehouse standards, security protocols, and operational efficiency to ensure they align with vPost’s brand promise. Working with operations teams to provide feedback and reports on Vendor performance.
Strategic Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of global logistics trends, including cross-border regulations, freight rate volatility, and emerging tech in AI-driven supply chain management, to provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance and Legal teams to ensure all global contracts are compliant, risk-mitigated, and commercially viable.
Oversee the management of the operations team, where the operations team is in charge of day-to-day operations, managing of SLAs, training of warehouse vendors and day-to-day vendor management. Ensuring that the operations team up hold SLA performance.
