We are looking for an
Associate Manager, Market Intelligence and Sales (m/f/d)
to join our Commercial department at Advario in Singapore, starting as soon as possible.
Your Tasks:
Monitor oil, chemicals, and gas markets for product shifts, competitor activities, and regulatory developments.
Identify market opportunities and trends through research and connect insights to commercial recommendations.
Support global market intelligence activities and contribute to internal intelligence networks.
Produce strategic briefs, market outlooks, and scenario analyses for commercial leadership.
Prepare reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
Respond to ad-hoc internal requests on markets/products within agreed timelines.
Prospect and qualify new customers in collaboration with Commercial Director and Sales Managers.
Participate in customer meetings, prepare proposals, and support contract negotiations using data-driven insights.
Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) with accurate pipeline and forecasting information.
Translate strategic and market insights into compelling customer-facing talking points and value propositions.
Support renewals and growth with existing clients through timely, solution-oriented engagement.
Liaise with Operations, HSSE, Maintenance, Finance, and Legal to ensure offers are feasible and compliant.
Provide commercial input into brownfield projects (e.g., tank modifications, capacity upgrades).
Support annual budgeting process with variance analysis and strategic scenario inputs.
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business from a reputable university
At least 5 years of related experience in consulting, strategy, public sector, commercial roles, or market intelligence, ideally in the petrochemical, petroleum, or energy sectors
Possesses knowledge in market intelligence, competitive analysis, and turning insights into actionable business strategies
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex market data, regulatory and competitive data
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills; strong stakeholder management capabilities
Ability to perform under pressure, take responsibility for decisions, and drive execution across both strategic and operational initiatives
Please note:
This position is based in Jurong Island
Official Working hours: Mon - Fri, 0830 - 1700 hours
