The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for Assistant Project Manager to join our Building Services team in Singapore and become part of a network of over 400 Building Services professionals across the Asia Pacific.

You will be working with a diverse client base on a variety of projects, delivering sustainable and high-performance building solutions that shape Singapore’s built environment. You will support multidisciplinary teams, take on both technical and leadership responsibilities, and contribute to the successful delivery of key projects.

About You

We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our Building Services team in Singapore. You will support the delivery of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems design and implementation for built environment projects including commercial, healthcare, hospitality and institutional developments.

You will assist in coordinating the technical, administrative, and contractual aspects of M&E projects, working closely with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

  • Support the planning and delivery of M&E engineering projects from concept design to construction and handover

  • Coordinate with internal design teams (mechanical, electrical, ACMV, fire protection, plumbing, etc.) and external consultants, contractors and authorities.

  • Assist in preparing project schedules, progress reports, meeting minutes, and technical submissions

  • Monitor design deliverables, track progress, and ensure M&E installation aligns with design specifications, authority requirements, and QSS/RE/RTO site feedback

  • Assist in managing project budgets, cost tracking, and variation assessments

  • Participate in tender evaluations, procurement coordination, and vendor/supplier management

  • Liaise with statutory bodies (e.g. BCA, PUB, SPPG, SCDF) for submissions and approvals

Key Requirements

  • Diploma in Project Management, Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services engineering

  • 0-2 years experiences in a project management / engineering consultancy or construction environment in Singapore

  • Basic understanding of M&E systems, design coordination and building codes in Singapore

  • Familiarity with Singapore Codes of Practice and local authority submission processes will be an added advantage

  • Familiarity with BIM software & process will be an advantage

  • Proficient across a range of Microsoft Software (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, PowerBI)

  • Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English

  • Organized, strong time management and communication skills

  • Able to work independently & exercise initiative

  • Good teamwork attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

  • A team, client and delivery focused working style
