Job Description

Accor is in partnership with one of the world’s leading airlines, manages the Lounge operations at Changi Airport. We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to join our team. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the lounge, ensuring smooth service delivery, operational efficiency and compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. They will play a key role in upholding exceptional hospitality standards while ensuring seamless operational excellence throughout the Lounge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the daily Food & Beverage lounge operations, ensuring exceptional guest service standards at all times.
  • Manage team rostering and manpower allocation to support operational requirements effectively.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members through structured onboarding, on-the-job training, and performance guidance.
  • Ensure all food, beverage, and amenity stock orders are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Monitor compliance with hygiene, food safety, and presentation standards in accordance with company, airport, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the team maintains strong menu and beverage knowledge to deliver a consistent guest experience.
  • Oversee lounge readiness, ensuring all mise-en-place is completed and maintained throughout operational hours.
  • Handle guest feedback and escalated service matters promptly and professionally.
  • Drive service excellence by leading by example and fostering a guest-centric culture.
  • Support operational improvement initiatives, new project implementations, vendor management, and departmental audits.
  • Assist in monitoring team performance, productivity, and operational standards to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality or lounge operations​, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.​
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills required.
  • Proven ability to inspire and develop teams in a luxury service environment. 
  • Excellent customer service mindset with attention to detail. 
  • Professional grooming, flexibility with shifts (including nights, weekends, public holidays). 
  • Food Hygiene certification required​
