This position will be hosted at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) under VP (Artificial Intelligence & Digital Economy)’s office and we welcome you to join our community.

About the Role

We're looking for a versatile, high-energy professional to take on a dual-function role that blends executive support with business development. This position suits someone seeking broad exposure - supporting senior leadership on one side while building commercial skills through direct client engagement on the other. It's ideal for someone organised enough to run an office and personable enough to run a sales call.

We value capability and drive over formal qualifications. A degree is welcomed but not required - what matters is your ability to juggle priorities, communicate confidently, and get things done.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Manage and maintain leadership calendars, scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, and protecting time for priorities.
  • Process quotations and invoices, ensuring accurate documentation and timely payment follow-through.
  • Prepare and route requests for in-principle approvals, tracking each to sign-off.
  • Coordinate facility and conference room bookings, securing necessary approvals.
  • Liaise with internal teams, partners, and vendors to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
  • Handle general administrative support and ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns, and social outreach (e.g. LinkedIn).
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads and website inquiries to assess fit.
  • Conduct remote product presentations and demos that speak to prospect needs.
  • Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline in the CRM (Open-sourced), logging all interactions.
  • Guide qualified prospects through early-to-mid sales stages, handle objections, and close the sales.
  • Partner with Marketing to refine lead-gen campaigns and messaging.
  • Meet monthly/quarterly KPIs targets.

Job Requirements:

  • 1–4 years of experience across administrative, executive-support, operations, sales, or customer-facing roles (a mix of both is a plus but not required).
  • Strong organisational skills, reliability, and attention to detail - able to context-switch between admin tasks and sales calls without dropping the ball.
  • Confident, professional communicator comfortable speaking with stakeholders and prospective clients alike.
  • Sound judgement and resourcefulness; able to anticipate needs and solve problems independently.
  • Comfortable with rejection and persistence in a target-driven environment.
  • Working knowledge of quotation, invoicing, and approval workflows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Diploma, degree, or equivalent practical experience are welcome to apply.

We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
