Job Description

About the role:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop, implement, and optimize procurement strategies aligned with C&W’s goals and objectives.

  • Sourcing & Vendor Management: Oversee the onboarding of suppliers and to ensure the suppliers to meet C&W standard assurance onboarding program and to meet the contractual requirements of timing and varying onboarding compliance requirements.

  • Cost Control: Analyze procurement data, monitor costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality and service.

  • Operational Excellence: Challenge existing processes and constantly drive an innovative culture of continuous improvement within the Strategic Client Procurement team

  • Contract Management: Monitor, review and analyze bids and quotes with suppliers, including the negotiation of service agreements and contract to adherence to company policy, compliance, and legal requirements.

  • Benchmarking of outsource services: Carry out benchmarking on all types of outsource services to ensure all quotations can meet the target cost.

  • Market Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of the market, in addition to current prices and fair rates for all outsource services.

  • Environmental, Sustainability and Governance (ESG): Ensure all current suppliers practice ESG in their businesses.

  • Diversity, Equality and Inclusivity (DEI): Ensure all current suppliers embrace DEI in their workplace.

  • General Requirements: Stay abreast of industry trends, developments of category management and strategic sourcing. Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations, contract specifications, and company policies/procedures. Lead and/or facilitate cross-functional teams to continually assess business requirements and align supply base and resources to drive savings and sustainable value for the company year on year.

  • Miscellaneous: Perform other related duties as assigned

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Quantity Surveyor, or a related field is required.

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager (or similar role) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing, and supplier management.

  • Experience in contract negotiation and management, including English language.
