About the role:
- Support Head of PR, APAC in delivering PR activities, executing global/regional initiatives, and meeting communication requirements.
- Align local PR programs with regional strategy and coordinate PR campaigns across markets.
- Lead SEA public relations strategy to boost brand awareness and business growth.
- Handle media outreach: press releases, coverage analysis, media events, and spokesperson engagements.
- Secure media opportunities for global/regional leaders and facilitate cross-border PR efforts.
- Manage industry association engagements, sponsorships, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Track and report APAC media coverage, updating PR reports, dashboards, and trackers.
- Maintain APAC Communications SharePoint, ensuring timely updates and relevant content.
- Coordinate award submissions and other recognition opportunities.
- Manage external PR agencies/vendors to ensure ROI on investments.
- Support PR efforts in media training, crisis management, strategic campaigns, and digital initiatives.
- Ensure prompt sharing of PR content on websites, social media, and internal networks.
About you:
- 5+ years in PR, corporate communications, or media relations, preferably in APAC markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong network with regional media and experience in securing press coverage.
- Excellent writing and editing skills for press releases, reports, and thought leadership content.
- Ability to develop and execute PR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Strong ability to manage multiple PR campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Understanding of corporate, financial, or real estate sectors (preferred).
- Experience working with senior executives, industry associations, and external agencies.
- Ability to track, analyze, and report on media coverage and PR performance.
- Experience organizing media events, press conferences, and industry engagements.
- Familiarity with leveraging social media for PR campaigns.
- Ability to support crisis/issues management and media response strategies.
