Workiva’s Product Marketing team leads the go-to-market strategy for Workiva's premier cloud-based financial and regulatory reporting platform tailored for companies across the globe. Workiva is seeking a Product Marketing Director to create and manage global go-to-market efforts for Workiva in APAC.

The Product Marketing Director for APAC who creates the go-to-market strategies for products and solutions in their area of expertise, including product positioning, marketing strategy, and sales enablement to drive buyer awareness and desired business outcomes. They lead product and solution launches cross-departmentally and identifies and prioritizes product features while providing consulting and management support to the assigned business initiative.

What You'll Do

  • Create a go-to-market strategy for assigned products, markets, and solutions, and ensure that execution of the plan drives business goals

  • Manage platform and point-solution initiatives to focus sales efforts and ensure the achievement of revenue and profit goals for specific solutions

  • Drive the development, execution, and delivery of thought leadership content (webinars, blogs, white papers) to advance credibility and awareness, and drive pipeline

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales and Enablement to enable training and messaging for Sales team

  • Develop product positioning and complete competitive analysis

  • Consult with customers in partnership with Product Management and Sales to explore product and market opportunities

  • Identify key functional, ecosystem, and operational requirements to serve the targeted market better

  • Provide consulting and management support to marketing and sales areas, identifying emerging market opportunities

  • Become an influencer through thought leadership exposure and speaking engagements across industry associations

What You'll Need

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related fields

  • 10+ years experience in Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, Corporate Marketing or Product Management

  • Experience in business-to-business (B2B) tech marketing with a preference for Software as a Service (SaaS) expertise

Preferred Qualifications

  • To communicate with our customers in Japan & Taiwan, proficiency in both English and Japanese or Mandarin would be an added advantage

  • Experience with industry technologies that service the relevant processes of the buyer persona 

  • Experience in developing and executing industry-specific marketing programs

  • Proficiency in implementing product-led growth go-to-market strategies, approaches, and tactics

  • Excellent business acumen in Workiva’s core APAC markets - Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Japan

  • Exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels, spanning from buyers and end-users to executive management

  • Demonstrated success in collaborating and influencing cross-functional leadership teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Enablement, and Customer Success

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to derive insights from data for decision-making

  • Proven ability to innovate and optimize business-driven strategies

  • Exceptional listening, communication, and program management skills

Working Conditions & Travel Requirement

  • Up to 25% travel for customer and internal meetings

  • Reliable internet access for any period working remotely, not in a Workiva office
