Job Description Summary

The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for executing the Accounts Receivable and Revenue Accounting functions across all entities within the Singapore IFM operations. This role will ensure compliance with SOX, maintain strong internal controls, support statutory audits, and address AR/Revenue queries from auditors. The role also includes supporting system initiatives to enhance Workday and integration with other systems.

About the role:

  • Manage financial reporting, closing, and compliance with US GAAP, FRS, and Group requirements. Analyze P&L variances and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Support accurate and timely revenue and cost recognition, highlighting variances before closing.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, ensure compliance, and support statutory audits.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX for key processes (AP, AR, GL, Procurement, Payroll, IT). Maintain documentation, test controls, and address deficiencies.
  • Support audits, identify risks, recommend improvements, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Assist in GST compliance for multiple entities, coordinate audits, and support post-audit reviews.
  • Prepare documentation, address auditor inquiries, and implement corrective actions based on findings.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and controls, driving efficiency and best practices.
  • Conduct training on accounting standards, corporate policies, and internal controls.
  • Undertake additional projects and assignments as required.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounting and/or audit
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in dealing with internal and external financial and regulatory audits is preferred.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Highly adaptable and resilient, thriving on changes and challenges.
  • Hands-on and a can-do attitude.
  • Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to contribute in meetings and be well-versed in business processes and issues.
