A Snapshot
As an Assistant Finance Manager for Singapore reporting to Finance Manager, you will work closely with the rest of the Finance team, making an impact in a number of ways:
- Delivering and meeting key objectives of the Financial Control (“FC”) team
- Support the year-end financial statement close process for operations in Singapore
- Supporting compliance and reporting requests arising from business operations
- Business partnering together with the FC team to drive the efficiency and accuracy of support provided to both internal and external stakeholders
Your Day to Day
- Preforming financial accounting and controlling duties
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regional statutory reporting requirements, including managing external audits, relevant statistical and compliance reports
- Support the Tax team for tax compliance obligations and special purpose studies
- Support Group’s regional financing arrangements on covenant reporting and various other information undertakings
- Enhance financial controls by implementing, enforcing, and strengthening a robust system of internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Assist with other ad hoc projects and duties as required
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of work experience in financial reporting (prior big 4 audit experience advantageous)
- CA/CPA qualified
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Exposure to APAC jurisdictions is highly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and ever-changing environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
