Lead SG Growth Capital's communications and marketing efforts: develop brand research and communication strategies, manage media relations and digital content, plan and execute physical and virtual events, produce collateral and meeting materials, coordinate agencies and stakeholders to drive campaigns and engagement, and oversee operational communications for SGGC, EDBI and SEEDS.

Key responsibilities:
- Undertake brand research and be responsible for SGGC’s communication strategies, potentials and approaches by keeping abreast of the media landscape globally.
- Lead the marketing communication initiatives by identifying media platforms where EDBI can engage external stakeholders.
- Plan and execute physical/virtual events for SGGC which includes proposing concepts, creating of e-brochures or marketing collaterals, drafting events newsletter, handling invitations and attendances and conducting post-event survey or updates.
- Lead in the provision of media quotes, statements, internal and external communications and digital content to enhance the branding for SGGC, EDBI and SEEDS.
- Build and maintain strong relationship with media outlets to support communication efforts.
- Support SGGC Senior management team in the preparation and update of meeting materials for meetings and conferences.
- Coordinate with internal and external (agencies and vendors) stakeholders to drive campaigns to generate traffic, and foster engagement with the global business community, portfolio companies, government agencies or other external partners.
- Oversee the operational aspects of communications.
Overall requirements
- A degree in a related discipline (e.g. Mass Communications, Journalism, Business or Marketing)
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in Marketing, communication and tech-related MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions)
- A deep passion and growth mindset in technology and the world as well as PE/VC/investment related industry and is excited in helping to strengthen EDBI’s extensive network to increase value adding partners
- A strong flair for language with the ability to articulate and present concepts and ideas clearly
- Strong analytical skills to undertake and distill research data to uncover useful insights
- Excellent organizational skills in event management, with a proven track record of engaging internal and external stakeholders
- Able to multi-task and be a team player in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
