ABOUT UI

UI will own and drive the growth from 1bn to 5bn by

  • Building leading market share positions in S.M.I.L.E. ( Small Island Landlocked & Extreme) geographies to serve underserved geographies  - combination of digital + in store execution

  • Serving underserved diaspora and religious population with the right innovations, festival marketing activation and building a strategy to serve these underserved consumers

  • Creating new innovations and marketing programs to serve underserved channels such as Corporate Partnerships, Govt ^ & NGO (GIN), Cross Border ecom, Discounters etc

  • Serving underserved brands by building a global model to seed, incubate and scale brands especially in Health and beauty, Ecom and modern trade

  • Building new niche and underserved categories like lip care, hand care, sun care, face care, dressings in D&E, Surface cleaning etc

THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE...

  • You will own the development of the Joint Business Plan(JBP) with each customer and is responsible for the delivery of sustainable and profitable growth across all retail touchpoints.

  • You will play an important role to gain strategic alignment both internally, with key stakeholders BU marketing, BG and Customer Operations/Supply Chain, and externally with the Customer to build the JBP

  • You will own the volume and spend forecasts aligned to S&OP process at total business level, which includes the media and promotional budget end-to-end.

  • UI’s future growth will come from brand building at scale in the market by being the best in class in global digital marketing across search, social, performance marketing and moving to the final ultimate phase of direct to consumer and first party data

  • The No.1 Responsibility for the ABDM is to scale brands in market to become segment and channel leaders globally in key markets

WHERE THE REAL MAGIC HAPPENS...

  • You will lead and manage Distributor, ensuring that it is optimised based on the changing nature of the retail landscape to remain ahead of the curve as market leaders. Drives continuous improvement in how we execute through thought leadership, data and insights and test and learn environments, pioneering new ways of working.

  • Localises the Country Category Growth Strategy and deploys the commercial in-market Execution Plan that is aligned to overall BU strategy.

  • Drive the dynamic resource allocation of core Unilever capabilities across channels and customers and deploy budgets accordingly.

  • Own the local market execution of Unilever initiatives and work to integrate Channel/ Customer key requirements upstream into the BU

  • Collaborate with BG/ BU to understand and address Customer category needs and work to localise growth strategies and innovation / renovation roadmap plans.

  • Responsible for defining and executing growth strategies for Unilever through the 5 Levers of NRM: Brand Portfolio Pricing, Pack Price Architecture, Active Mix Management, Promotion Management and Trade Spend Translation.

  • Critical end to end business planning including the Sales & Operation Planning process.

  • Run standardised planning operations leveraging technology and scaleable processes to provide visibility on risks and opportunities across customers and channels.

TO BE GREAT AT THIS, YOU’LL HAVE…

With at least 1 to 3 years’ experience in FMCG industry in building brands globally, driving digital marketing, Customer Development and Trade Marketing

  • You are a maverick, you don’t take no for an answer, you pioneer and are consumer obsessed

  • Strong network with customers and senior stakeholders in the unilever business

  • Deeply collaborative and work and win with others

  • Have attention to detail and have a passion for execution
