ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Global Brand Manager on the Vaseline Pro Derma global platform, Vaseline’s premium therapeutic skin care range that is set for accelerated growth next year and beyond.
The candidate will be required to deliver a masstige skin care innovation and campaign that will be launching next year in the key markets of Thailand and Indonesia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To land the mix in Thailand and Indonesia, acting as the Global Project leader for assigned innovation projects including driving the overall project, network management, business case development, team management, and gatekeeping to ensure an On Time in Full and successful launch.

  • To drive the development of a social-first 360 launch campaign including branded assets, Others Say & PR Activities and retail theatre

  • To lead the Medical Affairs strategy for launch, driving education with Healthcare Professionals (i.e. dermatologists)

As a Global Assistant Brand Manager position on the Vaseline Global team in Asia, this is a very demanding yet rewarding position. Hence, an experienced marketing WL 1 talent will be best suited to the role, using this stint to consolidate their experience to seek future growth opportunities at Unilever. You'll be able to develop an in-depth understanding of brand development and the business environment within Beauty & Wellbeing. You’ll also gain experience in the world of premium beauty. The role offers plenty of scope for independent leadership and clear own-able deliverables.

THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE A CANDIDATE TO HAVE:

  • Experience in Skincare/Beauty is highly desirable, especially in Premium/Prestige Beauty

  • Innate, genuine passion for beauty, with a keen eye for beauty.

  • Trend Awareness: Staying abreast of cultures and emerging trends, platforms, and best practices within the beauty industry.

  • Strong brand crafting/development skills and experience in communication development

  • Strong project leadership experience backed by the ability to work with cross functional global teams (i.e., Consumer Marketing Insights, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, R&D) as well as agencies and local marketing teams

  • Strong bias for action with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Problem-solving, can-do mindset, being bold in thoughts and brave in action

  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
