Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of the Middle Office team with close interaction to the trading desk? You have found the right team.
As an Analyst in the Asia Fixed Income Middle Office team, you will be servicing Fixed Income products mainly repos, bonds and fixed income products. You will be responsible for trade management activity, life cycling, inventory management and client queries, liaising with regional and global stakeholders to deliver solutions to the business and our clients is integral to the day-to-day operations.
Job responsibilities
- Ensure sales and traders trade capture accuracy in risk management systems
- Allocate trade in risk management systems in accordance to client requests
- Partner closely with various teams globally such as FI middle office teams, legal, settlements and technology to address issues and develop business solutions
- Perform controls on trade management processes
- Support trade lifecycle for repo and bonds including affirmations, inventory management and settlements
- Manage query from sales, clients, trading and various stakeholder groups
- Participate in regional and global projects with focus on process improvements and driving new digital initiatives and agenda
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum1 year of experience in Operations within the banking industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
- Proactive with initiative to drive business solutions
- Good analytical skills, due diligence and attention to details
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, with ability to demonstrate leadership qualities
- Able to multi-task and work in very fast-paced and demanding environment
- Able to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including senior executives, managers and subject matter experts
- Strong proficiency in Excel and the ability to pick up complex systems architecture easily
- A highly-motivated individual, vocal and able to deliver with minimal supervision whilst working effectively in a team
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in Middle Office
- Product knowledge of repo, bonds or Asia Fixed Income markets
- Strong proficiency in VBA
