Job Description:
We are hiring a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support the monitoring of mission-critical systems. This role focuses on batch job monitoring, incident handling, and ensuring system stability through timely detection and escalation of issues.
Training and mentorship will be provided on SOPs, ITSM processes, and monitoring/investigation tools.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor systems and batch job processing; perform first-level issue identification, basic resolution, and timely escalation of incidents and critical alerts
Support system/application recovery activities in collaboration with L2/L3 support teams
Manage monitoring maintenance activities (pause/resume alerts during planned changes)
Work with support teams to enhance monitoring coverage and alert effectiveness
Participate in daily operations calls and prepare system health check reports
Coordinate change communications with the Change Manager (start/end notifications)
Provide 24x7 rotating shift support (12-hour shifts), including standby coverage for absences or major incidents
Adhere strictly to established SOPs and operational standards
Requirements
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand system and functional flows
Proactive, self-driven, and able to work under pressure with urgency
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable engaging internal and external stakeholders
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy)
Familiarity with monitoring tools and basic scripting/automation
Basic SQL knowledge (ability to write simple queries)
Additional Information
This role requires eligibility for government security clearance (CAT 1).
Due to project requirements, this role is open to Singapore Citizens only
Work location - Client site, central Singapore
Work arrangement - Fully on-site
