The Application Engineer reinforces all project activities through their established technical expertise and experience in the pro audio market.
As part of the Vertical Application Team the role interfaces with influencers, AV consultants and design teams in the respective vertical. Through strategic outreach to key stakeholders, associations and communities the role contributes to the development of the vertical market in the APAC Region.
- Sound system design for projects in Houses of Worship
- Maintain and develop relationships with AV consultants, FOH engineers and end users
- Design, specification and documentation for applications
- Sound system commissioning, measurement and written reporting
- Host FOH mixing workshops, technical workshops and product demonstrations
- Conduct technical presentations on outreach campaigns and conferences
- Meet end users and stakeholders in the respective vertical in the region
- Working alongside Business Development and Regional Teams
Skills & Experience
The Application Project Engineer must develop professional relationships with consultants, technical influencers and business partners. The candidate possesses an expert knowledge of sound design modeling, system deployment, and measurement procedures.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the area of House of Worship
- In-depth knowledge of the pro AV fixed Installation market, especially HOW
- Min 5 years of FOH Mixing experience, ideally in HOW
- Working knowledge of L-Acoustics systems and technologies as well as main competitors
- Working outside of normal company hours for project support, tradeshows and client relationship development
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Profound knowledge of design and acoustic simulation tools such as Soundvision, Sketchup, Autocad, Vectorworks
