Job DescriptionThe APAC T&D Sales Lead is a critical growth leader within NielsenIQ, accountable for shaping and accelerating the commercial performance of the Total Data & Technology (T&D) portfolio across the APAC region. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, revenue leadership, and executive influence, partnering closely with in-market sales leaders to unlock new growth, deepen strategic customer relationships, and ensure consistent execution of regional and global priorities.
Sales is NielsenIQ’s growth engine. In this role, you will act as both architect and catalyst—driving revenue outcomes while building the strategic capabilities required for sustainable, long-term success across diverse APAC markets.
Key Accountabilities
Regional Revenue & Growth Leadership
- Own and drive total APAC T&D revenue performance, ensuring delivery against ambitious growth targets through disciplined execution and strategic focus.
- Lead the implementation and scaling of key growth bets and strategic investment initiatives, translating strategy into measurable commercial outcomes.
- Identify and unlock white-space opportunities and win-back strategies, expanding the company’s footprint across priority categories and markets.
Strategic Customer & Market Leadership
- Build a deep, forward-looking understanding of customer industries and business models, anticipating needs and positioning NielsenIQ as a trusted strategic partner.
- Maintain and grow C-suite and senior executive relationships, influencing long-term customer agendas and investment decisions.
- Expand and diversify the regional customer network, engaging new budget holders and decision-makers across complex organizations.
Product & Value Proposition Excellence
- Continuously refine and align product value propositions to stay ahead of market trends and evolving customer priorities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure offerings are commercially compelling, clearly differentiated, and locally relevant across APAC markets.
Leadership, Collaboration & Change
- Act as a trusted partner and coach to in-market sales leaders, elevating capability, consistency, and sales effectiveness across the region.
- Inspire collaboration across functions and cultures, creating a high-performance, customer-centric sales community.
- Drive regional adoption of global and regional strategies, leading change with clarity, pace, and purpose.
Experience & Capabilities
- 15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience, with a strong track record of delivering complex, multi-market revenue growth.
- Deep expertise in enterprise sales, ideally within data, analytics, technology, or adjacent B2B services environments.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer interdependencies, and industry trends shaping client decision-making.
- Proven ability to adapt go-to-market approaches across diverse APAC markets, accounting for local business, cultural, and technical nuances.
- Exceptional negotiation, influence, and executive-level communication skills.
- Highly collaborative leader with strong cross-cultural relationship-building capability.
