About this role

BlackRock is seeking a systematic equity strategist to support business growth in Asia Pacific and the Middle East, based in Singapore.

BlackRock is a leader in systematic investing, managing around $280 billion in assets across systematic equity strategies which span the risk spectrum from low tracking error long only strategies, to full market neutral hedge funds. As one of the pioneers of systematic investing, the Systematic Active Equity team (SAE) at BlackRock brings over 40 years of experience in managing risk-controlled systematic strategies to investors. The team is known for running a flat, collaborative working environment where research especially is a shared responsibility. This is reflected in the low turnover of people we have in the team as people who join tend to enjoy the culture and the ability to learn and contribute.

  • Liaise with internal teams across sales, product development, client servicing and other investment teams to drive growth of the franchise across Asia and the Middle East.

  • Engage in client conversations and follow up to drive through opportunities.

  • Help drive growth across the institutional space, and across our large Hedge Fund platform.
