Dow Polyurethanes has an opportunity for an APAC Marketing Manager.

This role is responsible for the Industrial Markets segment which is comprised of variety of applications such as adhesives, sealants, binders, engineering elastomers, composites, moisture control, filters, protective coatings, electrical & encapsulation.

In this strategic role, you will lead the development and execution of APAC growth strategy by collaborating with Sales, TS&D, Product Management, Business Communication in the region as well as leveraging global best practices and successful business cases. You will be responsible for 1) identifying strategic applications, 2) leading cross-functional Market Management Team, 3) accelerating commercialization of innovations. This role will report to APAC Marketing and Product Director, Polyurethanes.


Core Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional Market Management Team to develop and execute marketing strategy.
  • Conduct market assessments, competitive intelligence, customer segmentation, and value chain analyses to identify strategic applications, growth opportunities, and lead portfolio decisions. 
  • Accountable for innovation pipeline management with TS&D.
  • Implement effective marketing communication including sales tool kit, digital marketing, customer seminar, training for sales and distributor.
  • Work with Sales and TS&D to deliver both short term and mid-long term financial target.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders to strengthen market position and customer intimacy. 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of commercial, marketing, business development, or technical experience.
  • Experience within the Polyurethanes industry or related specialty chemicals markets.
  • Demonstrated experience in market analysis, strategic planning, and business growth initiatives.
  • Bachelor degree in Chemical, Engineering or Marketing related majors, MBA a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Communication / Leadership Skill: Ability to develop productive relationships with other functions, internal and external stakeholders and influence them to drive the execution.
  • Marketing Fundamentals: Understand marketing 4P, segmentation, targeting and positioning principles and can apply in real work.

  • Domestic and international travel will be required.
