Job Title
Platform Change – APAC Product Lead

Who we’re looking for

  • The individual is accountable for driving impact assessment, delivery planning, and execution readiness for global and regional product and platform initiatives affecting APAC, in close partnership with Global Product Owners.
  • The role ensures that product strategy and design decisions are translated into clear, prioritised, and deliverable APAC outcomes, with a strong focus on operational feasibility, regulatory alignment, and change absorbability
  • The role will also need to be able to assess impacts across multiple areas, including but not limited to operating models and service locations, regulatory and governance requirements, client experience and contractual obligations.
  • Acting as the primary APAC product counterpart to Global Product Owners, the role shapes scope, sequencing, and delivery approaches while working hand‑in‑hand with APAC Operations Change teams to execute change in a controlled and sustainable manner.
  • The individual will need to have a strong understanding of how global products are operationalised in regional contexts, in particular APAC.

The base
Singapore

The team
This role sits within the APAC Operations Change & Product Liaison function and strengthens the region’s ability to absorb global product and platform change. By embedding early impact assessment, disciplined delivery planning, and sustained partnership with Global Product Owners, the role helps ensure that APAC outcomes are operationally sound, regulator‑aligned, and delivered predictably.

What you’ll do

1. Product & Platform Impact Assessment (APAC)

  • Lead end to end APAC impact assessments for new products, enhancements, and platform change, in partnership with Global Product Owners and relevant stakeholders.
  • Assess impacts across:
    • APAC operating models and service locations
    • Regulatory and governance requirements
    • Client experience and contractual obligations
    • Data, reporting, controls, and outsourcing arrangements
  • Clearly document and socialise assumptions, dependencies, risks, and pre-requisites, ensuring impacts are understood before design is finalised or delivery is committed.

2. Delivery Planning & Change Shaping

  • Collaborate with Global Product Owners to convert product roadmaps into credible APAC delivery plans, including scope, milestones, phasing, and dependencies.
  • Work with APAC Operations Change teams to:
    • Align delivery sequencing with regional priorities and constraints
    • Shape delivery models (e.g. pilots, phased rollouts, lift‑and‑shift vs transformation)
    • Integrate product change into existing APAC change portfolios
  • Ensure delivery plans are supported by clear ownership, governance, and resource assumptions.

3. Product Ownership Through Delivery

  • Act as the APAC product owner throughout delivery, maintaining alignment between Global Product intent and regional execution.
  • Participate in design reviews, sprint checkpoints, and delivery forums alongside Global Product Owners to:
    • Validate that APAC impacts are being addressed as intended
    • Challenge design or scope decisions that introduce unmanaged risk or impractical operating outcomes
    • Confirm readiness for go‑live and handover to BAU operations
  • Support post‑implementation reviews, feeding APAC learnings back into global product evolution.

4. Governance, Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Provide clear, decision‑ready inputs into product, platform, and change governance forums.
  • Maintain strong working relationships across:
    • Global Product Owners and Platform leads
    • APAC Operations and Operations Change teams
    • Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Client stakeholders
  • Support the Head of Operations Change & Product Liaison, APAC with executive‑level engagement, issue resolution, and cross‑forum alignment.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

  • Proven experience in product change, platform delivery, or operations transformation within asset management or financial services.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct impact assessments and delivery planning, not just requirement gathering.
  • Experience partnering closely with Global Product Owners within a federated or matrix operating model.
  • Strong understanding of how global products are operationalised in regional contexts, particularly APAC

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help

  • Exposure to fund platforms, client lifecycle, AML/KYC, reporting, or regulatory‑driven change.
  • Experience supporting regulator‑facing or board‑level decision making

What you’ll be like

  • Strong at turning product intent into executable delivery, with deep capability in impact assessment, sequencing, and planning across complex APAC operating environments.
  • Trusted partner to Global Product Owners, able to shape scope and trade‑offs using evidence and judgement
  • Naturally risk‑ and governance‑minded, with an instinct for what will (and won’t) stand up to regulatory, audit, or senior‑management scrutiny.
  • Influential and clear in communication, able to cut through ambiguity, align diverse stakeholders, and drive decisions without reliance on formal authority.
