Job Title: Senior Specialist, Platform Implementation

Who we’re looking for

The Senior Specialist, Platform Implementation will support the delivery of strategic platform and operating model initiatives across APAC. Acting as the regional business analysis lead, the role will assess change impacts, test and challenge solution design, and ensure local and global platform initiatives can be effectively implemented.

The role brings together three core areas of focus: platform change delivery, operating model analysis, and stakeholder management. It requires strong business analysis capability, sound judgement, and practical knowledge of investment management operating environments.

What you’ll do

1. Platform & Operating Model Impact Analysis

• Assess impacts arising from platform transformation and operational change initiatives.

• Assess the implications of change across key operational dimensions, including:

  • Operating model design and role accountabilities

  • Service delivery frameworks and vendor engagement models

  • Outsourcing arrangements, including roles, responsibilities, and hand-offs

  • Data, reporting, and information flows

  • Governance, control, and risk management environments

2. Business Analysis & Solution Shaping

• Lead structured business analysis across the change lifecycle, including:

  • Current-state assessment to understand existing processes, pain points, and operational constraints

  • Target-state design that translates strategic objectives into operating model outcomes

  • Gap analysis to identify capability, process, data, and control changes required

  • Requirements definition that clearly captures business needs, success measures, and delivery considerations

  • Process optimisation opportunities that improve efficiency, control, and operational scalability

• Challenge and validate proposed solutions to ensure they are operationally robust, scalable, and aligned to regional requirements.

3. Delivery Planning & Change Support

• Support regional implementation planning by translating global change objectives into practical delivery plans for APAC.

• Define clear business requirements, success measures, and acceptance criteria to support delivery alignment.

• Track key dependencies, risks, decisions, and readiness activities to support effective execution.

• Support phased rollouts, change readiness, and operational adoption across affected teams and processes.

4. Global Stakeholder Engagement

• Build trusted working relationships with key global and regional stakeholders, including:

  • Global product owners responsible for platform direction and capability priorities

  • Platform leads accountable for solution design, delivery sequencing, and implementation decisions

  • Operations teams responsible for day-to-day process execution and operational readiness

  • Technology teams supporting platform configuration, integration, data, and reporting requirements

  • Risk and Compliance stakeholders providing oversight of control, regulatory, and governance requirements

• Provide decision-ready analysis and recommendations.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

• Experiences working with or in fund administration or custody.

• Exposure to AML/KYC, transfer agency, fund accounting, fund onboarding, or regulatory change initiatives.

• Exposure to investment operations, broad knowledge of financial instruments, operations onboarding and trade lifecycle.

• Professional BA certifications.
