Role Overview

The Program Manager Networks & ARINC Border Management Solutions (ABMS) is responsible for the business and P&L management of the complete portfolio in the Asia Pacific regionThe role requires close collaboration with the Commercial Management Team, Project Delivery Team and Customer Success Management Team, to ensure the highest possible customer service. Collaborating across all other matrixed organisations including Sales, Technical Sales, Product Value Stream Leaders, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Global Trade, Compliance and Contracts is also expected for the successful and efficient operation of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Business Management: Drive high business growth by ensuring strong technical and commercial support to the Sales Team
  • Program Management: Responsible for management of the Program’s Profit & Loss and day-to-day business operations for the Program
  • Pipeline Management: Coordinate with the Regional Sales Head to create and manage Annual Revenue and Profit targets
  • Pre-sales support: Work with Technical Sales to support Sales in developing pipelines and bid opportunities (e.g., RPI/RFP) in the region including proposal team management.
  • Responsible for preparing and delivering the Program’s regional Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and Strategic Financial Plan (SFP) and provide input into the Global AOP and SFP targets for each product line within the Program
  • Responsible for developing and executing the region-specific roadmap and key milestones needed to meet the AOP and SFP targets.
  • Attend customer meetings as the representative for your area of responsibility. 
  • Provide support for proposal development and pricing.
  • To build the business case and recommend commercial propositions for approval by the relevant leaders
  • Provide feedback to Product Value Stream Leaders in the product roadmap development with feedback on customer needs in the region.
  • Close collaboration with Sales and Marketing to achieve success on strategic or key initiatives (e.g., New Product Campaigns, Workshops, Targeted Products, etc.)
  • Constant interaction with customers
  • Attend Industry Meetings, Conferences & Events as Collins Aerospace representative
  • Program and Pipelines reviews with regional and global leaders
  • Coordinate with the Project Delivery Manager to ensure adequate and timely resourcing allocated for the delivery of services and projects within your area of responsibility. 
  • Close collaboration with your peers in charge of the Network and ABMS in other regions
  • Close collaboration with Service Delivery Manager to plan and conduct regular Program/Service review with identified key customers

Qualifications & Experience: -

  • Demonstrable relevant industry knowledge and applied IT experience in the field of Aviation Communications and Services
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience
  • Intermediate IT network knowledge and experience, CISCO network certificates is a plus
  • Project management certifications like PMP, PRINCE2 or AGILE/Scrum is a plus.
  • Excellent customer-oriented attitude
  • Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal) and administrative skills
  • Strong interpersonal and people matrix management skills
  • Strong Business acumen coupled with the capability of analysing financial statements and strong P&L management
  • Strong oral presentation and power point skills 
  • Possesses strong strategic, critical and problem-solving thinking
  • Able to do business travel up to 50% and occasionally in short notice
  • Requires BS/BA degree in technical related, management and/or financial discipline.
