Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.​

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for an APAC Digital Products Lead located in Singapore

About the Role 

 

The Digital Lead for VELYS APAC will be responsible for digital products, capabilities and software that are components of the VELYS ecosystem within the DePuy Synthes portfolio Will work closely with the Global organization to bring new data and digital capabilities to the region, will also work along side the platform technology teams to ensure our data products strategies support out technology systems within the portfolio. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

This role has end-to-end responsibility at a regional level including: 

 

  • Aligned to global vision, strategy and roadmap, craft APAC regional product vision (short- and long-term) and convert it into a concrete strategy defining the digital/data roadmap. 

  • Lead the cross-functional team within APAC to pilot, test, and scale connectivity and data solutions to realize the digital/data roadmap for the VELYS platform(s). 

  • Ensure support, buy-in, and alignment with Global partners for timely and efficient execution of projects. 

  • Communicate product strategy, progress, and updates to stakeholders, including senior leadership & in country teams. 

  • Ensure input across the digital product lifecycle from business technology, ISRM, privacy, regulatory, product, and business stakeholders for successful regional implementation and commercialization. 

  • Conduct user research (voice of customer) and usability studies. 

  • Participate in market research, validation, as a support to the global organization. 

  • Communicate the needs of the region to the Global organization and shape the global strategy. 

  • Work with the Commercial Operations team to develop commercialization strategies for VELYS digital products across APAC. 

  • Partner with market and crossfunctional stakeholders on capability development and prioritization. 

  • Oversee positioning, messaging, and differentiation. 

  • Monitor product performance and ensure timely feedback to all stakeholders. 

  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies. 

  • Mentor junior colleagues. 

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Master’s degree preferred (Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, MBA, Digital). 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital product management. 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare; orthopaedics preferred. 

  • Experience working in international matrix organisations. 

  • Experience with connected platforms and digital health programmes. 

  • Strong analytical, prioritisation, and negotiation skills. 

  • Experience in usability and customerfocused design. 

  • Passion for building impactful digital products.
