APAC Business Partner and Operations Director (Our LEGO Agency)

Core Responsibilities
- A natural navigator with experience in complex partner landscapes, you will help guide the agency teams through the complexity of working with multiple collaborators within The LEGO Group, reading the signals of the business, ensuring the APAC team is able to respond with agility.
- True partnership is about trust, as a leader of Operations and Communication Partners you will establish trust based on mutual respect and a deep level of understanding, whilst knowing the difference between what a marketing partner wants and what they need.
- Understanding our Marketing teams, understanding them as people, understanding their regions, their business and the environment in which they need to deliver. You will have overall responsibility for the Agency relationship with our APAC Markets and gain alignment with our global and regional hubs for global campaign playbooks.
- On the operational side, you will help us develop the best agency setup to respond to the evolving needs of the business and ambitions. Being responsible for agency budget and the capacity planning model for the APAC team.
- Define, train and nurture the Communication partner team championing the LEGO Group People Promise in your leadership style.
- A calming influence with a constant flow of enthusiasm and energy regardless of what’s going on around us, you will keep a cool head.

Our LEGO Agency is the regional hub within the LEGO in-house advertising agency. We are responsible for leading strategic and conceptual development, design, and maturing communication campaigns for the APAC region. Our role is to engage with children and the adults in their lives, with great ideas that drive commercial momentum for our Markets.
We do this by combining Global campaign toolboxes with local market insight to deliver campaigns that are relevant for audiences in the region and coherent with global franchise strategy. We also develop tailored campaigns targeted at regional specific consumer, shopper or customer opportunities. We aim to make the LEGO brand and its franchises engaging to all our audiences.
Do you have what it takes
- Significant advertising agency leadership experience, either external or in-house
- You will be a proven leader with a nurturing, inclusive approach. You are extremely passionate and positive with boundless energy and determination.
- You’ll show good business maturity, building strong relationships with our Regional Market partners, having gravitas that they buy into.
- You will be an outstanding presenter of work, strong communication and influencing skills.
- We are part of a Global Agency network, so we would want you to be an excellent cross agency collaborator helping build bridges across the regional and global.
- Demonstrable experience formulating and improving agency operations and ways of working process and team structure.
- Able to travel internationally when required. You will be working as part of a Global Agency. In order to succeed, teamwork, collaboration and networking will be fundamental to your daily work.
