Analyst, Group Investments

We are seeking a driven and analytical Analyst with 1.5 to 3 years of investment experience to join the Group Investments team. The candidate will independently evaluate real estate investment opportunities, conduct in-depth financial modelling, and prepare high-quality investment papers as well as ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decision making by ESR senior management.

The candidate will also work with key stakeholders across the broader business, including the Group Strategy & Investments team on Mergers & Acquisitions opportunities and the in-country investment teams on key projects.

Investment Evaluation

• Independently assess potential real estate investment opportunities across various asset classes and geographies, including both equity and debt structures

Financial Modelling

• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to analyze deal-level economics, sensitivity scenarios, and return metrics (e.g., IRR, equity multiple, cash-on-cash)

Investment & Strategy Papers

• Draft clear and compelling investment memos and presentations for internal investment committees and senior leadership, outlining the strategic rationale, risks, and recommendations.

Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct macro and micro-level market research, competitive benchmarking, and due diligence to inform underwriting assumptions and investment strategy

Due Diligence Coordination

• Liaise with brokers, partners, legal counsel, and other external advisors to facilitate deal execution

Ad-hoc Analysis

• Provide on-demand analytical support to senior management, including portfolio reviews, hold/sell analyses, and performance tracking

Internal Investment Support

• Review potential investment opportunities proposed by the broader business and work with Group Strategy & Investments team on potential Mergers & Acquisitions opportunities

• Target candidate will have 1.5 to 3 years’ experience working in real estate investment, real estate funds management, real estate private equity, investment banking or similar role
• Bachelor’s Degree from top-tier university with an outstanding university academic record
