Support development of client markets across Singapore and ASEAN; design and propose customized commodity and derivative solutions; assist trade execution and post-trade processes; collaborate with trading, risk, compliance and operations; support business development, client meetings, onboarding, and new product launches.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Assist in developing client markets in Singapore and other ASEAN countries, covering the commodity trading needs of financial institutions, corporate clients and general investment institutions.
- Identify and analyse client demands and investment objectives, support in design and propose customized products and solutions.
- Support distribution of swaps, options, wealth management products and other products and services provided.
- Provide support in trades execution on client side across commodities assets and work closely with trading, risk, compliance, IT , operations and other functional teams to ensure smooth full-cycle trade execution.
- Regularly revisit existing clients, synchronize client situations and market dynamics internally, address personalized client demands, enhance client retention, and track the entire trading lifecycle.
- Participate in industry events and client meetings as part of broader business development efforts.
- Support in the launch of new product initiatives, new business model development and new client coverage with the growth of business.
- Assist in all aspects of client on-boarding, trading, post trade services.
- Bachelor's degree or above in finance, economics, science, or engineering-related fields.
- Fresh graduate or minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience covering commodities customer markets as the role of sales trader, possessing overseas customer resources in Hong Kong, Singapore, or London, and have good understanding of the commodity market and derivative products.
- Fluency in English and Chinese in writing and speech is required as the role requires thorough understanding of international exchange operating rules for compliance, and liaising with international stakeholders and counterparties.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and good team player.
