MUFG Bank in Singapore is seeking an Analyst, Assistant Relationship Manager to join their dedicated team supporting relationship managers in delivering exceptional banking services. What you'll do:

As Analyst, Assistant Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting relationship managers by facilitating seamless banking services for a diverse portfolio of clients. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing business transactions, handling onboarding procedures, updating account documentation, and responding promptly to client enquiries. You will collaborate closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure efficient transaction processing while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. By building strong relationships with customers through regular contact and attentive service, you will help drive business growth and achieve organisational goals. Your ability to adapt quickly to changing demands, work effectively within a team environment, and uphold high standards of accuracy will be essential for success in this role.

  • Support relationship managers by assisting in the delivery of relevant banking services to customers within your coverage area, contributing towards achieving business unit revenue targets.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing a high standard of service under the guidance of more experienced team members.

  • Develop strong stakeholder management skills by collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

  • Manage day-to-day business transactions with assigned customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all dealings.

  • Handle customer onboarding processes including updating account documentation to maintain compliance and data integrity.

  • Focus on daily transaction processing, facilitate client enquiries, serve requests promptly, and ensure smooth workflow execution for optimal client satisfaction.

  • Partner with Operations teams to guarantee smooth processing of transactions and resolve any issues efficiently.

  • Visit customers when required to nurture relationships and maintain regular contact as part of ongoing business development efforts.

  • Support departmental initiatives aimed at increasing revenue opportunities while maintaining high standards of customer service.

  • Provide transaction monitoring support related to the delivery of products tailored to meet customer needs, ensuring compliance with internal rules and external regulations.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Analyst, Assistant Relationship Manager position brings proven experience from previous roles within financial services or banking environments. Your educational background equips you with foundational knowledge necessary for understanding complex products and regulatory frameworks. You excel at building rapport through your interpersonal skills—whether interacting with clients or collaborating internally—and demonstrate reliability as a supportive member of any team.   • Degree qualified is required.

  • Minium 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within financial services or banking environments. Fresh graduate is also welcome.

  • Strong stakeholder management abilities allowing you to collaborate seamlessly across departments for optimal outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability as a dependable team player who adapts readily to evolving organisational needs and priorities.

  • Detailed understanding of banking products and services offered by major financial institutions.

  • Sound knowledge of local laws and regulations governing banking operations in Singapore.

  • Exceptional organisational skills paired with efficient time management capabilities for handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, which supports accurate reporting and documentation processes.
