Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Group Compliance AML Advisory (GR) team in delivering and executing GC’s compliance agenda and overall book of work.
  • Participate in and support the team’s development of the Dynamic Customer Risk Profiling (DCRP) initiative
    • Support development of the machine learning model, including assisting with the execution of required action items, and other supporting activities to ensure timely and effective model development.
    • Support coordination and preparation for DCRP end‑state planning, including tracking deliverables, aligning stakeholders, and assisting in the documentation of target operating model and implementation plans.
  • Review the team’s current workflow processes to identify opportunities for productivity and/or effectiveness improvements using AI Copilot. Develop and propose relevant use cases, and take ownership in driving and championing the implementation of these solutions. Potential use cases may include
  • Prompt Engineering – leverage Copilot to generate prompts that help streamline the drafting of GC comments. Based on test cases, the prompt should produce GC comments in a structured and consistent format, covering key elements such as reasons for SFHR, justification for escalation to GC, and relevant risk‑mitigating factor
  • Enhancement of source of wealth (“SOW”) guide - incorporate common forms of corroboration where material SOW is derived from DPT
  • Enhancement of the weekly reporting statistics dashboard (HTML file) – Leverage Copilot to improve functionality, design, and overall efficiency.
  • Assist in coordinating and supporting updates to the Department Operating Instructions (DOI) by consolidating feedback from team members and managing version control to maintain accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide project management support by coordinating with stakeholders on governance and process updates.
  • Conduct reviews of potential high‑risk customers or escalated cases, identifying and highlighting ML/TF risks to the Business as part of the review process. Ensure all case files are assessed in line with AML/CFT risk requirements and expectations. Clearly document Compliance assessments within each file, providing robust justification for the risk analysis and advisory provided to the Business.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Curious and proactive learner, with a keen interest in AML/CFT and data analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and its applications would be an added advantage, particularly in enhancing productivity and supporting workflow automation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred, with experience in macro (VBA) development considered a strong plus for automating tasks and improving efficiency.
